Mark Adams Hairston

Mark Adams Hairston, age 54 of Collinsville, Virginia, departed this life and went to heaven on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at his home. Mark was born on December 10, 1967 in Martinsville to Henry Lee Hairston, Sr. and Helen Hairston Hairston. Mark was preceded in death by his parents. Mark was a graduate of Patrick County High School. He was a member of New Bethel Christian Church in Fieldale, Virginia.

Mark enjoyed spending time with his two sons, family and friends. He was very proud of his sons and their accomplishments. He liked syfy movies, cars and car shows. He loved to dress up, try new hair products and never wanted his hair out of place.

Mark leaves to cherish in his memory is his sons; Marquis Hairston and fiancee, Kay Green and Keyshawn Hairston, three granddaughters; Kaelani Jordan Katrice Hairston, Kaidense Serenity Hairston and Makenzie Rose Hairston, six sisters; Sandra Hairston (Tony), Mira Hairston-Sims, Emily Hairston, Linda Taylor (Dwayne), Denise Hunt and Rebecca Hairston, three brothers, Henry L. Hairston, Jr. (Hester), Ray A. Hairston (Cheryl) and Travon Brandon.

A visitation will be held from 12:00 to 12:30 PM on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Collins Funeral Home, 30 Riverside Hwy, Bassett, Virginia with a funeral service that will follow at 12:30 PM. Interment will be in the Hairston Family Cemetery, 345 Waycross Drive, Fieldale, Virginia.
