Lula Mae Hunt was born June 14, 1947, in Danville, Va. She passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2023.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Darrell Ray Hunt; daughter, Lisa Lewis; grandchildren, Crystal Padgett, Lisa Higgs and Mitchell Lewis; 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Parker, Jimmie Custer and Dianne Dyson, and brother Lynwood Hardy.
Lula Mae loved flowers and gardening. She enjoyed collecting angels and bells.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, June 9, 2023 at Collins Funeral Home, Bassett, VA and will be officiated by Reverend Cas Horton. Interment will immediately follow at Danville Memorial Cemetery.
