Elsie Foley Wright

Elsie Foley Wright, 83, of Collinsville, died Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Country Living Private Care Facility in Collinsville. She was born on March 14, 1932 in Stuart, Virginia to John Foley and Millie Shively Foley. Elsie was a Private Duty LPN. She loved her family and church and had established and assisted at a local food bank.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Chester Wright, her sisters, Mary Dalton, Sally Williams and Annie Haynes and her brothers, Terry, Novel, Lemley and Wilson Foley.

Survivors include her daughter, Susan McGregor and her husband Alan of Collinsville, her son, Patrick H. Wright of Martinsville, her brother, Harry Foley of Stuart, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday, May 8, 2015 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home Bassett Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM at Collins Chapel with Rev. Travis Cassell officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park.
