V. Maxine Howard

She was born October 24, 1934 in Gillespie, IL to Velma and Robert McClaskey. She married Ray Howard on July 3, 1958 in Peoria, IL.

Preceding her in death were her parents, one brother Robert McClaskey, and one sister Dorothy Roger.

She is survived by her husband Ray Howard of Hanna City, four children, Cindy (Scott) Vandak of Peoria, Debbie (James) Landes of Mansfield, TX, Mike (Cindy) Howard of Trivoli, and Julie (Roy) Auvil of Hanna City, 16 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was a die-hard Cubs fan, which was always a topic of conversation with her family, as Ray was a Cardinals fan. She was devoted to her family and cherished time spent with them. She was a member of Texas Road United Methodist Church.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
