He was born on June 11, 1954 in Peoria to Robert and Joan (Carpentier) Rohman. He married Debra Dunivan on March 5, 1985. She preceded him in death on March 18, 2020.
Also preceding Steve in death are his parents; son, Jason Rohman; and brother, Robert Francis Rohman Jr.
He is survived by his children, Angela Hagerdorn of Pekin; Robert (Ariel) Rohman of Pekin, and Amanda (Trey) Coffey of Pekin; grandchildren, Allissa Picardi, Ash Hagerdorn, Trevor Coffey, Addison Coffey, Ledger Rohman; great-grandchildren, Owen and Lachlan McMahon; siblings, Patricia Nelson, Timothy Rohman, and Terry Rohman Hedl; and nieces and nephews, Samantha, Shelby, Ryan, Timmy, Heather and Amber who he loved and they loved him.
Steve worked for Illinois Oil Marketing in Pekin as a Petroleum Equipment Installer for 40 years until his retirement. He enjoyed playing in a pool league for over 30 years. Steve loved to garden, and could grow just about any fruit or plant you asked for. He could build just about anything outside, and did all of his own plumbing and home repairs. He would rebuild and work on cars - especially Mustangs, he watched NASCAR every Sunday, and loved spending time with his grandchildren. His children and grandchildren were his life and he loved them dearly. Although Steve was a quiet man, he had so much life experience you'd have trouble believing some of it at times.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
