Sharron Lynn Trotter

She was born June 23, 1940 in Peoria to Delmar and Louise (Campbell) Bessler. Sharron married Charles "Andy" Trotter on August 25, 1962 in Bartonville, he passed away February 13, 2020.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, Andrew J. Trotter.

Surviving are three children, Mark (Laura) Trotter of Bartonville, Illinois, Angela (Jeff) McClanahan of Edwards, Illinois and Michael Trotter of Bartonville, Illinois; two grandchildren, Taylor (Zach) Thomas and Jake McClanahan; two great grandchildren, Audrey Thomas and Cooper Thomas.

Sharron dedicated 20 years to the Limestone Community High School library and also served as a secretary at Alpha Park Library.

Sharron was an avid traveler, and she cherished her annual month-long trips to Florida each fall. This trip offered her a time to relax and rejuvenate.

She also found immense joy in spending time with her family, particularly her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her boundless happiness.

A lifelong member of Bartonville United Methodist Church, Sharron was known for her generosity and kindness.

She enjoyed reading and made it a point to connect with her high school classmates for lunch once a month, maintaining lifelong friendships.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel with visitation from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, Pastor Jack Thompson will officiate. Burial will be at Swan Lake Memory Gardens.

Memorials may be made to the Richard L. Owens Hospice Home or the St. Jude Drive.
