Matthew “Matt” J. Sanders, 61, of Washington passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2024.
He was born on March 20, 1963 in Peoria to William E. and Grace A. (Wargo) Sanders. They preceded him in death.
Matt is survived by his son, Major Keith (Natalie) Sanders of Shaw AFB, North Carolina; two grandsons, Cameron Everett and Cole William Sanders;two brothers, David (Steve Thurman) and Thomas (Kathy) Sanders both of Peoria and his best friend Chief.
Matt was known for treating everyone as a kind friend.
Private family services will be held.
