Margaret Yadro

Born August 11, 1928 in Peoria to Samuel and Margaret (Bailey) Wantling; she married Steve Yadro on April 20, 1971 in Peoria. He preceded her in death in 2015.

Also preceding in death were her parents; a son, Danny Sharum; one sister, Doris Stevenson and her brother, Samuel Wantling.

Surviving are her sister, Jenny Pruitt of Bartonville; nieces, Debra (Bill) Perry of Mapleton and Crystal (Danny) Miller of East Peoria; nephew, Ricky Pruitt of Tucson, AZ; one grandson, Ryan Sharum, several great grandchildren, great nieces and nephews.

Margaret was a line supervisor at the Hiram Walker Distillery in Peoria for 34 years.

In her younger years, she enjoyed golf and bowling. She developed a love for travel and no matter where she went she knew how to have a good time. She enjoyed trips to casinos and when closer to home, she played the lottery right up to the end scratching off tickets.

Cremation has been accorded by Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Private inurnment will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in West Peoria.

Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Peoria.
