

He was born Dec. 19, 1943 in Peoria to Lester and Lillian (Sutter) Hutchinson. He married his soul mate, Clare “Pixie” Williams on April 25, 1969 in Peoria. She survives along with two daughters: Linda Hutchinson of Florida, Mary Lou (Steve) Schmidgall of Farmington, three sons: Lonnie (Julie) Hutchinson of Hanna City, James (Jodi) Hutchinson of Florida, Thomas (Stacy) Hutchinson of Germantown Hills, 16 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, five brothers: Lester “Pete” (Debbie) Hutchinson, Lowell (Sharon) Hutchinson, Larry “Butch” (Marguerite) Hutchinson, Leland (JoAnn) Hutchinson, Lyle (Jeannie) Hutchinson, two sisters: Loretta (Don) Corley, and Loraine Thatchfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Betty Hutchinson, one infant sister and two brothers: Lawrence and Leonard Hutchinson.
Lonnie was a Boilermaker working out of Local 60. He also owned and operated Starr Street Dairy for 15 years and Chances R from 1988 until 2003.
He was a member of the Peoria Elks Club, Peoria Eagles Club Post 265, and St. Ann Catholic Church. Lonnie will always be remembered for cooking his spaghetti and chicken dinners at the Eagles Club.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel is in charge of arrangements. A Celebration of Lonnie’s Life will be Friday April 7, 2017 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Peoria Eagles Club Post 265.
Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery at a later date.
