Eileen was born November 2, 1917 in Bartonville the daughter of William A and Lillian Bridgeman Polson. She married Richard "Dick" Siddle on June 12, 1937. Dick passed away on May 22, 2001.
She was a homemaker for many years before becoming a floral designer for Dorothy's Flowers for seven years. She retired from the Village Flower Shop in 1980.
Eileen was a charter member of Femmes Unir Woman's Club and a member of Bartonville United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School Nursery Class for 20 plus years.
She is survived by two daughters, Judy (Ron) Luken of Aurora and Nancy (Jim) Stahel of Mundelein; five grandchildren, Chris (Janet) Luken of Crystal Lake, Doug (Melissa) Luken of Aurora, Steve (Lisa)Luken of St. Charles, Jason (Linda) Teeter of Jefferson, WI, and Sarah (Steven) Lanham of Round Lake. She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren, Megan, Randy, Jenny, Kyle, Taylor, Carter, Raleigh, Danica, Crosby, Isabelle, Ainsley, Claire, Brady, Amelia, Benjamin, Madeline and Grace. She is also survived by one sister, Phyllis Birdsell, of Pekin, and three nieces, Barb (Roger) Helbling, Carole (Mike) Shane and JoAnn (Rick) Dolanc and several great nieces and nephews.
Eileen was also preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 23, 2013 at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Rev. Linda Richard will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon September 22, 2013 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. also at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Bartonville United Methodist Church or Bartonville Fire Department Rescue Squad.
Burial will be in St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Bartonville.
