Earl Joseph Beattie Jr.

Earl was born on May 18, 1951 in Holbrook, AZ to Earl Joseph and Florene Faye (Connolly) Beattie Sr. He married Patricia "Pat" Branson on March 24, 1975 in Mesa, AZ. She preceded him in death on July 18, 2018. Also preceding him in death were his parents and one sister, Kerri Silva.

Surviving are his two sons, Stephen Beattie of Waynesburg, OH and Kevin (Sarah) Beattie of Brimfield, IL. Also surviving are his two grandchildren, Archer and Hawk Beattie; two brothers, Victor (Rhonda) Beattie of Dayton, OH and David Beattie of Mesa, AZ; and a nephew, Michael (Roberta) Branson of Chandler, AZ.

Earl received his Masters Degree in Computer Science from the West Coast University of California in Santa Barbara. He worked for HP and then with Komatsu American Corporation as a CAD System Administrator. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Peoria and enjoyed watching movie series, woodworking, building things, genealogy technology and most of all spending time with his grandchildren and family.

A Celebration of Life will be on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at 4:00 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3700 W. Reservoir Blvd, in Peoria. Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel is in Charge of cremation. Burial of the urn will be at a later date in Ohio.
