Derek M. Look

He is survived by his parents, Misty (Brian) Dean and Derek A. (Jennifer Callahan) Look both of Bartonville; grandparents, Victoria Parlier of Creve Coeur, Illinois, David (Betty) Dean of Bushnell, Illinois, Gary (Shirley) Alexander of Macomb, Illinois, Donald (Jeri) Look of Mapleton, Illinois, Becca (Jerry McDaniels) Lambert of Pekin, Illinois; great grandparents, Don (Sharon) Henderson of Sycamore, Illinois and Edgar (Betty) Atchley of Peoria. He has four sisters surviving, Madison Look, Serena Look, Brinley Dean and Brookelynn all of Bartonville; two step sisters, Sydney and Ruby Dean both of Washington, Illinois and Alex and Kyle Callahan both of Bartonville. He has many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by several grandparents and great grandparents.

Derek enjoyed working out and spending time with his friends. He enjoyed farming and was very talented mechanically and was always willing to help others. His love of life was his work, he was enrolled in the apprentice program of the Steamfitters, Local Union 353 out of Peoria. He worked for the G. A. Rich and Sons in Mackinaw, Illinois. He was a graduate of the Limestone Community High School.

A celebration of life will be at Noon on Friday, September 30, 2016 at the Davison Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until Noon on Friday at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in the Smithville Cemetery, Smithville, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the welding program at Limestone Community High School.
