Deane was bom on December 7, 1930, to Clarence and Elsie (Doubet) Parr. He married Clara (Deanie) Cupples on September 27, 1958. She survives him, along with their children: one daughter, Bonnie (Parr) Buehrer of Morton, two sons Randy (Cindy) Parr of Mapleton and Michael (Karen) Parr of Canada. Deane was a proud grandfather to 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Wayne (Theresa) Parr.
Deane honorably served as a United States Army veteran. After his military service, he worked as a nail-mill machine operator at Keystone Steel and Wire, retiring after 34 years of dedicated service.
Deane found joy in spending time with his family, fishing, exploring garage sales, enjoying buffets, reading, and listening to southern gospel music.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024, from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel.The funeral service will follow at 10 a.m. at the same location, officiated by Pastor Mike Klopfenstein and Deane's grandson, Aaron Buehrer.
