She was born July 20, 1944 in Peoria, IL to William and Dorothy (Keller) Cochran. She married Duane Finley on October 14, 1967 and he preceded her in death on December 4, 2016. Also preceding her in death were her parents, a daughter, Kim Finley and two sisters, Kay Cochran and Linda Strickland.
Surviving are her two daughters, Karrie (Aaron) Gullery of Springfield, GA and Kris Finley-Krus of Hanna City; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one on the way. Also surviving are two siblings, Joyce Holman of Metamora and William (Theresa) Cochran of Bellevue.
Carol was a member of Freedom Bible Church in Bartonville. She was a past leader of AWANA, and a past director of Talking Hands of God- Puppet Ministry for years. She enjoyed singing, and was part of choral group for many years. She was also enjoyed crafting and ran, Apple of his eye craft booth at many area events.
Carol will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and sister. She was strong in her faith and loved the Lord.
Cremation will be accorded and a memorial service will be at 4:00 pm on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Freedom Bible Church in Bartonville. Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
