Ruby L. Lange

She was born in Bartlett, Texas on June 17, 1912, to Otto August Voigt and Martha Olga Friedrich Voigt. She was a life-long member of St. John Lutheran Church in Bartlett where she was a faithful member of the Piecemakers quilting group and the Women of the Church organization.

She married Eddie Bernard Lange on November 4, 1936. He preceded her in death on February 3, 1987. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and two sisters.

Ruby is survived by her son Norman Lange and wife Carolyn and daughter Linda Ferguson and husband Virgil; five grandchildren, Lori Alejandro and husband Eric, Kim Ferguson, Barton Lange and wife Heidi, Debora Karl and husband Rex Allen. John Bell and wife Lisa; eight great-grandchildren, Michael Boyer and wife Tamara, Allison, Sydney, and Isabella Lange, Chase Karl and wife Rebecca, Amanda Drake and husband Chance, Brandon and Blake Bell, three great-great-grandchildren, Raylee Boyer, Jordan Anderson, and Carter Karl.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 9, 2013, at 10 am at St. John Lutheran Church, Bartlett with Dr. Rev Mark Gruebmeyer officiating. Visitation will be at Goodnight Funeral Home on Thursday, August 8, 2013, from 6 to 8 pm. Burial will be at St. John Lutheran Church Cemetery.
