Harold Morrison

A lifelong resident of the Bartlett area, Harold was born January 16, 1929 to Hugh Riley Morrison and Doy Alice Shults. He spent his childhood on the family farm south of Bartlett. He attended Bartlett schools, graduating in the class of 1946. He married his high school sweetheart, Lynette Edna Spinn, on January 27, 1954, and the couple celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary earlier this year.

Harold was a farmer and rancher, and has been recognized locally and regionally for soil conservation achievements. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boating. In his younger days he operated cable-controlled scale model airplanes.

Harold is survived by his wife, Lynette Morrison of Bartlett, TX; his son, Lloyd Morrison and wife Elizabeth of Springfield, MO; and several grand-dogs and grand-cats.

A visitation will be held Friday, December 13, 2019 from 6pm-8pm at Goodnight Funeral Home in Bartlett, TX. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 10 am at Goodnight Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Bartlett City Cemetery.
