Harold Floyd Hinze, born December 6, 1924 to his parents Marie and Willie Hinze, passed away Thursday September 5, 2019. He worked for Sherwin Willliams Paint Store in San Antonio, then at Curtis Lumber, and Heights Lumber in Killeen as a bookkeeper. He served in World War II in the Army Air Corps as a top security decoder.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Clyde (Cotton) Hinze, and her sisters, Laverne Crassland and Jewel Karl.
He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Karen Barber, Brenda Ivey, Douglas Karl, Jerry Karl, Martha Karl, Alice Griffiths, and Aubrey Wayne Karl; and his extended family, Sharon Hughs, Tisha and Wyatt Weir, Donna and Mark Grotefeld, Aubrey and Bailey Fredlund, Sheila and Richard Midkiff, Carla Craft, Missy Craft-Lopez, and Aubrey and Asher Lopez.
Visitation will be held on Friday September 6, 2019 from 6pm-8pm at Goodnight Funeral home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday September 7, 2019 at 10am at Bartlett City Cemetery.
