Elizabeth Franz

Elizabeth was born on April 4th 1918 to Ben and Elizabeth Gunter in Lexington, TX. Elizabeth married Wilson Franz on July 1st 1939.

Elizabeth and Wilson owned and ran Franz Grocery and Market of Bartlett from 1954 to 1980, during which time it became Red and White Grocery of Bartlett. They also owned L&M Drug and Gift before retiring in 1980.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by her husband Wilson.

Elizabeth is survived by her son, Jon (Sandra) Franz of Quepos, Costa Rica; her grandson Jim (Anna) Franz of Salado; granddaughter Julianna Franz of College Station; grandson Nick Franz of Pensacola, FL; great grandson Jon Franz of Salado and great granddaughter Jenna Franz of Salado; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 10am on Wednesday March 13th 2013 in Bartlett City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Bartlett, TX.
