Evelyn Anderson, 92, of Davilla Tx gained her angel wings Sunday Jan 14, 2024. Evelyn was born Oct. 28, 1931 in San Gabriel, TX to Thomas Howard and Margaret Ellen Lovelace. She married Hubbard Keith Faulkner on Dec. 6, 1947. When Hubbard died, she married Richard Allen Anderson, who also preceded her in death.
Evelyn was a loving wife, mom, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She loved cooking for her family and always had a smile on her face. She lived in Davilla for over 70 years.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Thelma Louise Carr Marx and Nola Faye Dubec, brother Thomas Howard "Cowboy" Lovelace, Jr, son Hubbard Keith Faulkner, Jr. and daughter-in-law Rosemary Faulkner.
Evelyn is survived by son, Steven Faulkner (late Rosemary), Daughter-in-law Geraldine (late Hubbard, Jr.) Faulkner, 5 grandchildren Michelle (Ronnie) Saverse, Darrell (Mary) Faulkner, Shane (Kim) Faulkner, Shannon (Ashley) Faulkner, and Stefanie Faulkner, 10 great grandchildren Brandon Gordon, Clint Gordon, Sierra (Derick) White, Sydney (Adan) Payne, Eric Esquivel, Alyssa Esquivel, Anthony Esquivel, Samantha Faulkner, Sawyer Faulkner, Simon Faulkner, and 3 great great grandchildren Stormi Kate White, Presley Gordon, and Preston Gordon, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held Thursday Jan 18, 2024 from 6pm-8pm at Goodnight Funeral Home in Bartlett. Funeral services will be 10am Friday Jan 19, 2024 at Goodnight Funeral Home in Bartlett with Bro. Randy Holtzclaw and Bro. Billy Crow officiating. Burial will follow at Davilla Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be grandsons Shannon Faulkner and Ronnie Saverse, great grandsons Eric Esquivel, Anthony Esquivel, and Sawyer Faulkner, and nephews Vance Dubec, Jim Davis, and Donnie Davis.
Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons Darrell Faulkner, Shane Faulkner, Great grandsons Derick White and Adan Payne, and nephews Ronnie York and Mike Davis.
The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at Will-O-Bell Nursing Home for the love and excellent care they provided Evelyn for her last 2.5 years, the staff at Scott & White hospital for their care on her last day, Bro. Randy Holtzclaw and Bro. Billy Crow for their kind words, and Scooter Dubec (nephew) for the beautiful music.
