Trenton was born on September 19, 1985, to Charles A. Rankin and Constance Rankin in Omaha Nebraska. After Trenton graduated from Gretna High School in 2003, he pursued family life before eventually going on to study Project Management at Bellevue University. After graduating with a degree in Project Management, he started his job at EMS CRM Inc. as a Call Center Operations Manager, beginning what would have been a long career.
In 2016, Trenton met Caitlin in Omaha Nebraska. Trenton and Caitlin went on to build a loving blended family with 5 daughters, Zoe Rankin, Peyton Rankin, McKenzie Rankin, Emma Rankin, and Charlotte (Lottie) Rankin.
In his spare time, Trenton spent his time loving and caring for his family, playing with his children, playing his favorite video games, and listening to and sharing his love of his music.
Trenton was preceded in death by his brother Brandan Rankin, his cousin Ruth Dowhower, his foster mother Glenna Dowhower. He is survived by his wife Caitlin Rankin, his daughters Zoe Rankin, Peyton Rankin, McKenzie Rankin, Emma Rankin, Charlotte (Lottie) Rankin, his father Charles A. Rankin, his mother Constance Rankin, his foster father Vincent Winkler, his brothers Jason Rankin, Colby Rankin, Elliot Rankin, Galen Winkler, Ian Winkler, his nieces Kelsey Rankin, Keara Rankin, and his nephew Jacob Rankin.
Services will be held at Memphis Funeral Home on March 11th, 2023, at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Trenton Rankin’s GoFundMe, to help support the children and family during this difficult time. His GoFundMe page can be found here: https://gofund.me/4689b45b.
A memorial service for Trenton will be held Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at 4924 - Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133.
