Mr Coleman was a believer in Jesus, he enjoyed having Bible study with his daughter. He loved his family and also loved to spoil them, which has been handed down to his family spoiling their children and grandchildren. He retired from Coleman Portable Buildings. A graduate of Frayser High School and William R. Moore School of Technology, with a degree in architecture. He was an amazing carpenter who could build almost anything. He loved fishing !!!, the outdoors, gardening and always had a awesome tomato patches. Mr. Coleman loved to travel although he never left the country. Friday nights was his time to go out to eat. Reading novels, going to plays and other entrainment.
He is survived by his daughters; Nancy Shaw (Robert),and Amy Biggs, granddaughter; Amanda Beck (Justin),grandson; Justin Shaw (Kristen), great grandsons; Emmitt Shaw and Averett Shaw; sister, Carolyn Walker (Melvin); brother Ron Coleman (Jan).
Mr Coleman was preceded in death by his parents; Robert and Louise Coleman, wife; Jelba Coleman, grandson; Jeremy Shaw, and son in law Glenn Biggs.
A visitation for Thomas will be held Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133. A funeral service will follow Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 2:00 PM, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133. A committal service will be at Memphis Memorial Gardens.
