Shirley Mae Hamm

Shirley Mae Creasy Hamm, 81, passed away in Sunday, January 5, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital. Shirley was born on August 31, 1938 in Perry County, TN. She loved her family, friends, and taking care of others. Shirley retired from the City of Memphis after 22 years of being a school crossing guard. She will be dearly and deeply missed.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Sammy Hamm; son, Keith (Debbie); son, Jerome (Gwen); daughter, Rhonda Hicks; son, Ritchie (Tracy); three sisters: Margaret Boyd, Ann Bouldin (Ray), Linda O’Neil. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Alton and Edna Creasy, four brothers: Kenneth, Sonny, Robert and Gary Creasy, and one sister, Sylvia Creasy. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, January 11, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 7p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home, 3700 North Germantown Rd., Bartlett, TN 38133. Service will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at 2p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 1378 Union Ave., Memphis, TN 38104.
