Sgt. Maj. Orville F. Snow

Mr. Snow served his country for thirty years in the Marine Corps.

He served in WWII, Korea and two tours of duty in Vietnam.

He was a faithful servant at East Frayser Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Stella Snow, two sisters and three brothers from his hometown of Hillsdale, Michigan.

He leaves behind his devoted wife of 27 years, Sarah Ann;

one daughter, Gail Snow Jackson, (Walt);

one stepson, Mitch Henderson of Dallas;

one stepdaughter, Melissa Barre of Bartlett; and eight grandchildren.

Mr. Snow was a genuine, humble servant of the Lord showing the love of Christ to children and the elderly.

Mr. Snow was a considerate man who thought before he spoke and lived by the principal “If you can’t say anything nice, then don’t say anything at all.”

Mr. Snow always said he did not want flowers at his funeral;

therefore, the family has requested any remembrances be made

in the form of donations to either

East Frayser Church of Christ Missions,

4210 Altruria Rd., 38135 or

the American Diabetes Association.

Celebration of Life Monday October 14, 2013 at 2pm.

Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens

3700 North Germantown Road, Memphis.

Interment will follow in Memphis Memory Gardens.
