Sandra G. Cotton, 70, of Brunswick, passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2012. She was preceded in death by; her parents, Louise Sanderlin, and Leon L. “Sonny” Griffin. Mrs. Cotton leaves behind; her loving husband, J.L. Cotton, children, Patricia (James) Boone, James Marshall Wheeler, Clinton “Bubba” Cotton, and Christy (Wayne) Leard, siblings, Joy Daniels, Tammy Griffin, and Norris Ann Griffin, nephew, Homer Daniels, and four grandchildren. Mrs. Cotton was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church; she was very active as a community member in Brunswick, and a retired nurse who took an active role at the Arlington Developmental Center as the Assistant Director of nursing and for the State of Tennessee in Infection Control. She will be greatly missed. Visitation will be Saturday, July 21, at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. from 5-7pm. Funeral service will be held on Sunday at 2pm.
