Sammy G. White, 77, of Memphis, Tennessee went to be with The Lord on Sunday, May 4, 2014. Before retirement, he was a senior vice-president of The United Way of Greater Memphis. He was a faithful member of Calvary Episcopal Church. Sam is survived by his two children: daughter, Millicent Ashley (Millie) of Brighton, TN, and son, Jeffrey White (Jeff) of Dallas, TX and four grand-daughters. Services will be held at Calvary Episcopal Church on Friday, May 9, 2014 at 1:00 with visitation at 12:00 and a reception at 2:00. A procession will begin at 3:00 to Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd..
