Ruth M. Mathis

Ruth M. Mathis, 85, of Memphis, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2011. She was a member of Cherry Rd. Baptist Church. Mrs. Mathis, the widow of T.J. Mathis, is survived by two daughters, Patricia Hallum of Memphis and Karen Thames of Somerville; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy McElroy. Graveside services will be at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. at 11 a.m., Monday, May 2.
