Ruth M. Hogan

Ruth Murray Hogan, of Bartlett, TN, passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2018, at the age of 87. She was born in Ridgley, TN, in Lake County on January 15, 1931. Mrs. Hogan was a former member of The Gideon’s Auxiliary and the FCRV International RV Club, Tennessee Chapter. She was a former member of, Chelsea Avenue Presbyterian Church, Heritage Presbyterian, Raleigh Baptist, St. Andrews Presbyterian, and Ellendale Baptist Church.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Charles Pearson Hogan, Jr., her parents Otha and Florence Murray, and a brother Leamon Murray. Mrs. Hogan is survived by her children, Charles Pearson Hogan III of Memphis, TN, Dale Hogan and his wife Leslie Hogan of Germantown, TN, Neina R. Moore, and her husband Brian Moore of Liberty Hill, TX, nine grandchildren, Jonathan Hogan, Charlie Hogan, Sarah Hogan, Emily Hogan, Spencer Hogan, Lily Hogan, Kyle Moore, Ryan Moore, and Ross Moore. She also leaves a brother Jere Murray and two sisters, Opal Null and Maxine Crego.

The family will receive friends from 12pm until service time at 2pm, on Sunday, April 8, 2018, at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N Germantown PKY, Bartlett, TN 38133.
