Russell Eugene Eldridge

Russell E. Eldridge was born on November 6, 1956 and left us on Friday, December 14, 2018. He was preceded in death by his mother Betty C. Eldridge. He is survived by his son Ryan (Allison), his father Everett (Maybelle), his sisters Donna (Larry), Sherry (Charlie), Annette (Larry), his brothers , Pete (Gail), Larry (Sharon), significant other Lisa graves, step-daughters, Erica, Andrea, Alanna, and two grandchildren, Michaela and Liam, with whom he shared a birthday.

Russel graduated from Elliston Baptist Academy and worked as a utilities foreman for the Federal Correctional facility for thirty years.

Recently he could be found enjoying his retirement, riding his Harley, watching Nascar, and going to The Ditch with his friends for sprint car races.

His passing was unexpected and we are missing him terribly.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 17, 2018, from 5-7pm, at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N Germantown Pky, Bartlett, TN 38133.

On Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at 6pm, everyone is invited for a celebration of his life, as Russell requested, at the Sidecar Café, on Whitten rd. Please join us as we raise a glass or two in toast to celebrate a wonderful man and a life well lived.
