Ronald P. Wyse, 69, of Bartlett, TN was born on February 2, 1954 – the second child to his parents; Dr. Richard B. Wyse and Pauline M. Wyse. He grew up in Ellendale, TN. He was educated at Bartlett High School and Memphis State University. He owned and operated Best Lawns of Memphis and had a distinguished career at Federal Express. He was a member of the following organizations: Bartlett City Beautiful Commission, The Scottish Rite, and The Memphis Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society where he primarily sang Baritone for both the chorus and various quartets.
He passed away peacefully on February 19, 2023 surrounded by friends and family. “Ronnie” enjoyed his cool cars, cracking a joke or two, watching Memphis Tiger basketball, and having the greenest, most beautiful lawn possible. He was a loving husband and father, a member of Bartlett United Methodist Church, and resident at Colorado Assisted Living Homes.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy M. Wyse, to whom he was married for 30 years; his brother, Dr. Richard L. Wyse; his mother, Pauline M. Wyse; and his father, Dr. Richard B. Wyse. He is survived by his daughter, Lauren M. Wyse; his son, Richard B. Wyse II; his daughter-in-law, Dr. Barbara A. Wyse; and his brother, Alan C. Wyse.
