Ronald Glenn Scott, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2023 at Methodist Germantown after a long battle with Lymphoma. Ronald was born September 17, 1950 to Kyrus and Annie Scott both from Adamsville, TN. Preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Micki Dollar Scott. He leaves behind his three children: Staci Holland (Billy) Murfreesboro, TN, Jeremy Scott (Shawna) Jacksonville, FL, Joey Mincieli (Suzy) Murfreesboro, TN, 6 Grandchildren: Garrett, Ian, Cody, Sierra, Talon and Teagan, two brothers, Kerry Scott, and Ronald’s twin brother Donnie Scott.
Ronald was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church, Memphis, TN and he loved his church family dearly. Ron was retired and an avid golfer. He loved playing golf with his friends, brothers, grandson and son-in-law. Ron loved hunting and some of his best memories were when he would go hunting with his dad and brothers. He and his wife, Micki, spent a majority of their summers camping in Gatlinburg which was their home away from home. He always looked forward to the weeks he spent in Florida with Jeremy and Cody, park hopping and riding every single thrill ride they could squeeze in a day. He was an adrenaline junkie. He was a member of Graceland Farms Saddle Club where he often enjoyed riding and showing his horses. He and Micki loved their furr-babies almost as much as they loved their grandkids.
A Memorial Services will be held Saturday, July 15th at 2:00pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Pkwy Bartlett, TN 38133 with reception to follow immediately after the service.
