Robert "Bob" Stanfield

Robert “Bob” Stanfield, 81, of Somerville, TN., passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2014. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Howard Stanfield, Ruth Delaney, and Harold Stanfield, and a nephew, Ray Stanfield. Mr. Stanfield is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Sherry June Stanfield, three children, Johnny Stanfield and his wife Fran, Tina Marie Smith and her husband Bobby, and Keith Stanfield and his wife Tina L., grandchildren, Stephanie Jones, Derek Stanfield, Cathy Stanfield, Aaron Stanfield, Josh Smith, Caleb Smith, Kyle Smith, Tiffany Stanfield, and Angela Stanfield, two great-grandchildren, Madalyn Smith and Abigail Smith, and a sister, Shirley Mosley. Mr. Stanfield proudly served in the US Army. He retired after 24+ years working at the Health Department for Memphis and Shelby County. The family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, November 26th from 12-2pm with the funeral starting at 2pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd.
