Robert L. Kitchens passed away peacefully, on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at the age of 93. Robert was born on April 11, 1930 in Covington Tennessee, to the late Wesley and Bertha (McCullough) Kitchens. He is preceded in death by his daughter Pam Dallas, brothers; Larry Kitchens, Tommy Kitchens, Ernest Kitchens and Larry Kitchens
Robert proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was introduced to the game of golf over 20 years ago. It was a game his game. Robert always looked forward to the next Myrtle Beach golf trip with the guys. He will be remembered for his hard work ethic, sense of humor, and generosity.
He is survived by his son, Wesley (Edna) Kitchens, step-son Rhobie (Debbie) Nowlan, and stepdaughter Wanda Barnes, and granddaughters Ashley Jones and Sarah Kitchens.
A visitation for Robert will be held Friday, October 20, 2023 at 1:00 PM, with a funeral service following at 2:00 PM, at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, Tennessee. An entombment with military honors will follow in Memorial Gardens.
