Don was a dear friend and like a big brother to me.  I knew the entire Beasley family and graduated with his Brother Dan from Bartlett High School.  He had a captivating smile and infectious, positive disposition.  Don's sudden passing saddens me and I have lost another dear friend.  This I know, Don is at Home with God.  I will surely miss him.

We have numerous memories of Don and Nancy at Brownsville Road, and each of those memories leave us smiling.   We look forward to being reunited in heaven! (P.S. We still don't believe the story of him pulling 12 skiers in a pyramid!)

I have been blessed to have a brother like Don Beasley. Don loved to tell stories and could talk for hours. Stretching the truth a little to help embellish the story always made life a little more interesting. Don was always willing to help others and would listen to those who just needed someone to talk to. We loved to compete with each other, from card games to baseball. Winning was always a must. I can hear him now at the Pearly Gates saying " But Lord I had to cheat I  can't let my little brother win at checkers".
I will truly miss him.

I think about you daily and really was hoping for more time before you left us. We had some good plans  to spend more time together. You were like a father to me. A very wise and loving man. Full of kindness and grace. You exemplified what a Godly man looks like and it will affect me in a positive way  the rest of my life. I'm going to miss you. It's hard to say bye when I want to call you and chat about houses or construction or our Lord and how good He is or just to hear you say you love me..and talk about politics. I'm thankful for the years we spent together. And I wish we had more before you left us. I know God has a plan. I'm thankful for our last dinner at the fish place together and all our funny pictures at home depot at all hours of the day and night. I know you are looking down proud at all the love. Baby Ava and Dani miss you and I will make sure when little Ava grows up she sees the pictures of Yall together and she knows what a good man and granddad you were! Thanks for being a real man and a great example of a loving and guiding father. So much wisdom and grace. Love you my friend. Will see you again one day. You can count on it.

Don was my neighbor and my good friend. I have fond memories of sitting on his back porch and talking about life, church, my handyman business, and life in general. He helped me get my handyman business started around ten years ago by loaning me some tools and giving me leads. He was a great encourager. I’ll miss you, Don. 

When I think of Don and Nancy I think of an open home, laughter, food, games and fun. Good neighbors are hard to find and we will miss them both. May he Rest In Peace. 

I have so many memories of Aunt Nancy & Uncle Don. Many, many holiday/family gatherings at their home, while I was growing up. He was always fun and usually had a smile on his face. He was always good to us.

My memories of Mr Don are quite compassionate, caring & dear to me. From the time I was young, sharing family fun, at the Tennessee River, to sharing laughs at my parents 50th anniversary. Don and Nancy were wonderful friends to my late wife Tricia,  me and our kids.  I will always have many wonderful memories of fun times spent with them at their home, our home, church camp and their Tennessee River house as well as at various church gatherings over our 20+ years together at the Brownsville Road church.  Don built our two houses and was also one of the speakers at the service celebrating Tricia’s life.  While we haven’t been as connected in recent years, I loved Don and will always count him as one of my special friends.  May God’s grace and peace sustain the family.

My sweet cousin Don. Always had that great personality and that winning smile. You were such a good man. I loved our childhood and how close you Dan and I were. All the time we spent at your house and  all those fun times. You have done so many good things with your life. I was always so very proud of you. You and Dan were simply my brothers. I’m sorry the last few years we hadn’t talked much. I know you are probably celebrating with Aunt Nettie , Uncle Earl and Daddy. I have so many wonderful memories of Uncle Don & Aunt Nancy. Don always had a smile and made me laugh with his funny stories. They both always opened their home to me and my family. I remember going to the lake house as a little girl with them and riding in the boat.  Never forget my first Thanksgiving being married and away from my immediate family Don and Nancy hid gas money in our car so we could get back home.

We are sadden to learn of Don’s passing.  Don & Nancy welcomed us into their home many times  as we made our way to Lake Village.  
Nancy always had a delicious meal prepared for us.  Many of my casserole recipes are from her.  

They were so good about having our children stop by on their way home from Harding.  They often had friends with them. They were a generous couple.

Where do I start?  So many wonderful memories of our families.  You and Nancy were like second parents to me.  There were so many family vacations.  You and Nancy made my engagement and wedding to Martin so special.  The engagement party was so wonderful.     The flowers and greenery at my wedding were very beautiful.  Martins shoes were too small so you went to the shoe store to get him a pair that fit better than what he had to wear.  Thank you for always being there.  I cherish all of the wonderful memories.    I love you.
