Richard was a man who loved working and loved golf. He is fondly remembered by his beloved wife, Lisa Kriz, as being a golf fanatic.
He graduated from Christian Brothers High School before continuing his education. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering from Christian Brothers University. He worked for Chief Engineering and worked for himself with clients he earned over his devoted years.
Richard is survived by his wife of 40 years, Lisa Proffit Kriz, of Memphis, TN; children, Jason Kriz, Jeremy Kriz, and Kelsey Kriz; sister Catherine Barrom-Fry.
The visitation for Richard will be held Wednesday, November 15, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133, followed by the graveside service.
