Peggy P. Pipkin, of Collierville, age 86, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2015. She was an artist, specializing in watercolor landscapes and portraits, and achieved signature membership in the American Watercolor Society in New York City. She was a consistent award winner in many national, regional, and local art organizations, and her work is included in private and corporate collections throughout the United States. Peggy was a member of Germantown Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her husband, Cy M. Pipkin, her daughter, Susan Pipkin, her son, Lane Pipkin, her granddaughter, Allison Chandler, Allison’s husband, Jim Chandler, and her great grandson, Lucas Chandler. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 30, 2015 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd., Bartlett, TN with the interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association.
