Southaven - Chief Petty Officer Patrick L. Gallaher, USN Ret., 90, of Southaven, passed away on Monday, July 1, 2013. Along with retiring from the Navy, he also retired from St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Mr. Gallaher, the husband of Wilma Gallaher, also leaves two daughters, Patricia Hoglund of San Angelo, TX and Cathey O’Donnell of Iuka, MS; two sons, Frank Gallaher of Hernando, MS and Michael Gallaher of Huntsville, AL; eleven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first two wives, Ann Owen and Edna Bailey; and a brother and sister. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2 p.m., Friday, July 5, at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Graveside services will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Memorial Gardens. Memorial gifts may be made to either St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Disabled American Veterans (DAV).
