Oh I will miss her.  Asked God  why?    And I won’t know the answer this side of heaven.  But I know she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior  and I know she is in heaven today.      

This has been tough seeing what she has gone through since August 23, 2020 when she walked in the hospital for out patient surgery and never walked again.    (There went our trip to Hawaii.).  I have not seen bitterness from her for an incompetent doctor.   She has been courageous and faithful throughout.  Taking on adversity was true to character.   I remember when Jessie  died she got tractor driving lessons and learned how to use the bush hog.     She never complained or whined — just did what she needed to do.   She was gutsy and a good organizer.   For  years she ran a big effort at our church to feed 100’s of people in Tate and Marshall County at Thanksgiving.   She was so well organized, those meals would be out the door within an hour or two.  
She also led the Angel Tree effort at Wyatt Baptist for  years.  100’s of families were helped.    She bought toys and  would  add things to bags that were not as generous as she liked.    She  hosted  many showers, and catered weddings.   I would worry she was taking on too much so had the pleasure of helping in some of her catering adventures.    It could get crazy trying to keep up with her but it always worked out.   She did a wedding shower for James and Stephanie     I recall over 20 different types of food.    she also managed food at  Wyatt Baptist VBS for many years.  And had fun running our  chili cooking contests .,  so many good memories.  

Pat liked to talk.   I will miss hearing about Noah, Kristy, and Jennifer..  and all the memories of her family.   She was proud  of her girls and over the moon when it came to  Noah.   .   We agreed between the two of us we have the best grandkids around.  
She was a good Proverbs 31 woman and I count it a joy to have her as my dear friend.    


Mrs. Pat carried me home from more basketball games than I can count. She was always encouraging, loving, and so generous with her time.  Throughout elementary school, middle school, and high school, I knew if I needed anything and my mom wasn’t available, Mrs. Pat would take care of it. 

My best memory is organizing and serving the Feeding of The Five Thousand at Thanksgiving. She was the best. 

She was one of the best cooks I know. Growing up, I always looked forward to her cooking during the Holidays or on a special occasion. She was kind, thoughtful, selfless, and she loved others well. She will be greatly missed.
