Nina Joyce Cole

She was born to the late Casey and Sally Jones on April 30th, 1933 in Osceola, Arkansas. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Jones and her granddaughter, Stephanie Hope Bach.

Nina loved the Lord fiercely. She was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church and helped with the Prison Ministry and mission trips to Brazil. She was very involved in her church including the prayer line and a dedicated prayer warrior. Nina graduated from Whitehaven High School. She retired from Shelby County Schools as the Special Education Secretary Altruia after 22 years. She enjoyed cooking, crafts, sewing, ceramics, and music as she was a pianist. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be missed.

Nina Joyce is survived by her husband of 49 years, William J. Cole; her daughter, Teresa S. Bach (William); grandchildren, William Shane Bach (Melanie), Angela Bach Olita (Will), Nina Bach Smith (Stuart), great-grandchildren, Jordan Bach, Micah Bach, Josiah Bach, Kameryn Jones, Gabrielle Jones, Beau Olita, Naomi Olita, Lyla Smith, and George Smith.

Memorials may be made to Faith Baptist Church.

Family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Thursday, December 17th at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd, Bartlett, TN. Services will follow at 2:00pm.
