Mitzi Kay Osborne Hoffman

Mitzi Kay Osborne Hoffman, age 38, went home to be with our Lord on Saturday, January 7, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 8, 1973 and grew up in Florida. She moved to Tennessee in 2001 and made Cordova her home. She was a member of Living Oaks Church in Galloway and enjoyed the close friendship of a Christian small group. She worked as a mortgage collaborator for First Tennessee Bank in Memphis. She formerly worked for Regions Bank. Mitzi enjoyed volunteering for Youth Village as a teen mentor, and for Baptist Hospice as a companion for the sick. Mitzi's favorite activity was shopping. She also enjoyed gardening, bird watching, and exercising. She is survived by three sisters, Vicki Elston, Edna Rosen, and her twin sister, Misti Osborne Liborio, as well as many nieces and nephews. Mitzi was preceded in death by her parents, Polly Sender and Frank Osborne. The family will receive friends at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens 3700 N. Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN, on Friday, January 13, from 5 - 8 p.m. Funeral services will be at Living Oaks Church 333 Old Brownsville Rd. Galloway, TN, on Saturday, January 14, at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will take place in Florida at a later date. The family requests that memorials be sent to Children's Youth Villages 3320 Brother Blvd.
