Michael Lee Raymond, 80, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away on October 17, 2024. He was born on July 19, 1944, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Harry and Helen Raymond. Michael was preceded in death by his siblings, Jane Schoeck, Jim Raymond, and Steve Raymond.
A passionate woodworker throughout his life, Michael found joy in crafting beautiful pieces that reflected his creativity and skill. He also loved gardening, nurturing plants with the same care he extended to his family. Above all, he cherished his grandchildren, finding immense joy in their laughter and accomplishments.
Michael is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Nancy Raymond; his children, David Raymond (Lisa), Philip Raymond (Kellie), and Melissa Jenkins; his grandchildren, Eric and Chloe Raymond, Andrew Jenkins; and his sister, Mary Krebs.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, October 24, at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, located at 3700 N. Germantown Rd, Bartlett, TN.
Michael will be remembered for his warmth, kindness, and the love he shared with his family and friends. He leaves behind cherished memories that will be forever in the hearts of those who knew him.
