Sorry to hear the news about Mike. We had many, many laughs working together at Navy Recruiting Command. I'll always have good memories from the days of working with Mike.

I always looked forward to meeting with Mike when I was in the Millington area. He was a real professional and a fun person to be around. I will miss him.

I am very sorry for the passing of Mike.   My prayers are with the entire family.

I have had the honor, privilege and joy of working with Mike at two different times over the last 12 years; first at CNRC (March 1999 to July 2003) when the command first migrated down from Crystal City, VA.  Mike was standing by as a contractor to build out the most impressive network the base had ever seen.  Mike was vital to CNRC’s success of implementing the commands first ‘One Domain’ architecture.  I worked with Mike again from Nov 2008 to Oct 2010 at NPC.  He was hand selected as the Millington Data Center SAN/Windows/VMware SME, who did phenomenal work to get the DC up and ready for its first customer.  Mike was a dedicated and passionate individual when it came to his family and his work product.  My heart feels the heaviness of such a loss and I pray for his family (wife, son’s mother, sister and on) that God keeps them close and in memory of all that is good and right with the legacy Mike left this world. I know I am a better person because I knew Mike and spent time getting to know him.

   I have also known Mike for several years, mostly from this project.  I often commented on his great personality and how he would always make time to help anyone needing his talents.  I recall having to contact him at nights and on weekends when he was covering on-call system issues. No matter what time it was, he was always ready to help and usually had a joking comment to make.  He touched many people in very positive ways and I was lucky enough to have known him, even if only for a few years.  He will be greatly missed, both by the team and on a personal level. I was deeply saddened to hear of Mike's passing.  I have worked with him closely for almost 6 years and we grew very close.  I have nothing but fond and funny memories of him.  He had a sense of humor like no one I've ever known and was always a huge help to me, even when it was not asked of him.  One thing I always admired was his commitment to his job and to his family.
