Michael graduated from Craigmont High School, Class of 1986; following high school, he joined the Army where he served 6 years. During his tenure, he was stationed in Germany for 1 ½ years. After the Army, he wanted to continue to protect and serve his community as a Lieutenant for the Millington Police Department and a Deputy for the Shelby County Sheriff's Office.
He was a collector of many things, but firearms and knives were by far, his favorite. He enjoyed working with hands and building in his garage; he had every tool you could ever imagine.
Mr. Blair is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Jennifer Blair; 2 children, Steven Kyle Pullam (Ryndi), and Megan Elizabeth Blair; grandchildren, Evelyn, Louisa, and Gabriel; parents, Fred and Gwen Blair; brother, Chris Blair (Kristen); in-laws, Frank and Sarah Pullam; nephew, Noah, and niece, Emma.
A visitation for Michael will be held Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Bartlett Hills Baptist Church, 4641 Ellendale Road, Bartlett, TN 38135. A funeral service will occur Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM, 4641 Ellendale Road, Bartlett, TN 38135. A rotunda service will occur Friday, September 8, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at WTVC, 4000 Forest Hill Irene Rd, Memphis, TN 38125.
