Melanie D. Brown, 53, of Bartlett passed away Saturday, February 20, 2016. She retired October 2014 from Hospitality Federal Credit Union, was an avid supporter of animal rights and a fighter against breast cancer. Melanie is survived by her loving husband, William Patrick Brown; mother, Gail Dickerson
of Bartlett; sisters, Marcia White of Memphis and Staci Via of Knoxville, TN; brothers, Stuart Dickerson of Denver, CO and Ronald “Butch” Dickerson of Hernando, MS; nieces, Shana Marks, Dayna Crawford and Madison Via; nephew, Preston Via; and was preceded in death by her loving cat, Abby. The
family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday, February 22, 2016 and a funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd., Bartlett, TN. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be sent to
the Memphis/Shelby County Humane Society.
