Mary Lee Mitchell Collier, 92, of Memphis, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2014. She was a member of Berclair Church of Christ for 60 years and was retired from the USDA Cotton Division. Mrs. Collier, the widow of Fred L. Collier, Sr. is survived by two daughters, Judy (James) Brown and Phyllis (Bill) Gilbreth; two sons, Fred L. (Jackie) Collier, Jr. and Thomas (Brenda) Collier; eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister. A celebration of her life will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 17 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. the family will receive friends beginning at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Memphis Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorial gifts be made to Hope Works.
