Mary Sue Russom Cox, 93, went to be with our Lord on August 5, 2024. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She and her twin, Martha, were born April 8, 1931, to Dee and Rosie Russom in Rose Creek, TN.

She leaves her beloved family, Connye Zirkle (Chuck), Keith Cox (Julie), grandson, Justin (Lauren) and two great-grandsons. She also has a step granddaughter, Alicia, and three step great-granddaughters. She will also be missed by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James Dalton, and her eleven siblings.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

A visitation for Mary will be held Thursday, August 8, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133. Services will be held privately for family.
