Martin (Marty) Jeffery Countess, 60, of Bartlett, TN, passed away on Tuesday, December 17th. Marty was born on May 27th, 1964, and was the son of Todd and Peggy Countess. After graduating from Bartlett High School in 1983, he continued his education at Freed-Hardeman University, where he earned an undergraduate degree in Psychology and later a master's degree in Counseling.
Wherever Marty was, he brought laughter and smiles to those in his presence. He attended Bartlett Woods Church of Christ.
Marty was preceded in death by his father, Martin Todd Countess. He is survived by his mother, Peggy Countess; his brothers, Craig Countess and Russ Countess; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Bartlett Woods Church of Christ on Saturday, December 28th, at 1:00 PM.
