Marie Davenport-Harrill, 94, of Memphis, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2015. She was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church. Mrs. Davenport-Harrill was the widow of Clarence V. Davenport and Sam Harrill and is survived by a daughter, Janet Porter of Cordova; a son, C. Virgil Davenport of Memphis; sister, Frankie Liles of Oklahoma City, OK; brother, Jay Brannon of Edmond, OK; two grandchildren, Jeff (Anna) Mullinax of Nashville and Joanna (Kevin) Maltsberger of New Braunfels, TX and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Monday morning, October 5 in the Pollard Chapel of Bellevue Baptist Church with a short visitation time beginning at 9 a.m. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m., Tuesday, October 6 in the Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, OK.
