Lisa was born in Memphis, Tennessee on June 17, 1957 to Rudolph H. and Betty Ruth Hamill, she graduated from Treadwell High School in 1974 and from University of Memphis in 1979. Lisa was employed with Power and Tel for 28 years as a customer service representative. She enjoyed making jewelry, playing the piano, jigsaw puzzles, rock hunting, flower gardening, loved her kitty cats and cooking; which she was known for her delicious Chex Mix.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Roy Stanley; her twin sister, Lydia Cheatham of Benton, AR; brother Paul Hamill of West Memphis, AR; nieces, Holly Hamill, Stephanie Gilbert (Nathan) and Nephew Joel Hamill.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 2 pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Road, Bartlett, Tennessee 38133. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1 pm.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Lung Association or the Memphis Humane Society.
