She attended St. Joseph Hospital school for X-ray technology after high school and went on to the banking industry. She was a bank branch and mortgage manager.
Linda Ward had many passions including sewing, gardening and pottery. She was an avid cook and loved spending time with her family.
Linda Bess Ward is survived by her children: son, Dana Guy Kuykendall of Bartlett, Tennessee and daughter, Paige Kuykendall Rainey of Como, Mississippi. She also leaves behind sisters, Joyce Crawley of Columbus, Mississippi, Patricia Asbridge of Memphis, Tennessee, Gene Sanders of Drummonds, Tennessee; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Linda Ward was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Margaret Ward.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 3 from 6:00-8:00 PM and funeral services on Thursday, February 4 at 2:00 PM with the interment to immediately follow, all at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Road, Bartlett, Tennessee.
