Lenwood Luttrell, 87, of Memphis, passed away August 19, 2015. Mr. Luttrell was an Army veteran of World War II and a long-time foreman at Merle Norman Cosmetics before his retirement. The last survivor of ten siblings, Mr. Luttrell was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a dedicated volunteer at Getwell Church of Christ, where he was a member for many years. He frequently visited with the sick at area hospitals and nursing homes. Mr. Luttrell had a good sense of humor and loved to joke around. He was a hardworking and dedicated employee; he received many awards and accolades for perfect attendance. He is preceded in death by his first wife of 53 years, Elizabeth Luttrell, and his second wife of 11 years, Lilliean Luttrell. He is survived by his daughter Brenda Pike (Larry), his grandson Terry Hudgens (Tina), and his great-granddaughters Britni and Sara. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 23 from 2-4 p.m. The funeral service will be on Monday, August 24 at 10 a.m. The visitation and funeral will be held at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N Germantown Road, Bartlett.
